Holly Biography
At the age of 7, Holly Marie Combs moved to New York. Because of her stunning looks, she soon got various jobs in print ads and commercials. These experiences soon made her wanna become an actress, a dream shared by her other, who herself was only 24. Then Holly got casted for the role of Kimberly in the tv show Picket Fences (1992). The show ran for 4 years, and Holly won the Young Artist Award for Best Young Actress, and was nominated for Young Artist Award Outstanding Youth Ensemble, and Young Artist Award Best Performance by a Youth Actress.
After the show ended, Holly continued acting and starred in more roles in (tv) movies, while enjoying her marriage with Bryan Smith and her carreer succes. However, in 1997 she divorced, and yearned for more challenging roles.
In 1998 Holly's good friend Shannen Doherty tells her about a new television show, which was going to be Charmed. Holly auditioned for the middle sister, and won the role.
Now she is known around the world as the beautiful Piper Halliwell in our favorite WB hit show Charmed.
