Paige Matthews

From being a rebeleous, highschool student she became one of the world's most powerful witches ever known. With powers such as (telekinetic)orbing, centuries old witch's blood running through her vains and -maybe even the most important thing- a good, loving and warm heart, she saves the innocent and battles evil every day.

Never even known about it, Paige Matthews was born to Patricia Halliwell and Patricia's whitelighter; Sam Wilder. Those days, witch-whitelighter relationships were forbidden, and therefore Patty and Sam had no other option then to give their daughter up for adoption. They orbed the little girl to a nun named Agnes, asking her to find her a good and loving family to raise their daughter, with only one request: her name had to begin with a 'P', just like Patty's other daughters, herself and some ancestors before her.

Agnes did find her a good home, and Patty's daughter, who was named Paige, was raised by her two wonderful (adoption)parents. Being a teenager, Paige's love for her parents was deep, and so she kinda felt sorry everytime she did something to disappoint them; she smoked while her parents forbid her to, she skipped classes and sometimes even got suspended.

When Paige was still a teenager, she once drove home with her parents, and landed up in a car-crash. Not knowing about it, Paige orbed herself out of the car before the crash, the power she heritated from her whitelighter father. However, Paige's parents didn't survive the crash, leaving Paige all alone and heartbroken; especially since she had disappointed her parents so much.

Paige decided to better her life. She became an assistant at South Bay Social Services and eventually started searching for her biological parents. After a long search she finally gave up, not knowing that her short lasted suspicions about her relation to the Halliwell sisters was actually true...


When Prudence, the oldest of the Halliwell sisters, dies, the Power of Three is broken. Unknowing about the existence of their baby sister Paige, Piper and Phoebe mourn their sister's death, until they discover that The Source is after a young woman. The sisters find out she is supposed to reconstitute the Power of Three.

Soon after, the sisters discover that the spell Piper cast, did work. The words 'bring back my sister, bring back the power of three' didn't bring Prue back, but they did allow them to find out about Paige.

Paige finds herself in an awkward situation when she meets Piper and Phoebe, and completely freaks out when in time of emergency, she helps vanquish her first demon, Shax, the demon who killed Prue.
Paige tries to avoid Piper and Phoebe and doesn't want to know anything about magic or demons, until she finds out about her own magical power: she can move things with her mind, slightly alternate then telekinesis due to her whitelighter side: she can call for objects.

Quickly Paige learns all about her destiny as a witch, about her sisters, her parents and her ancestors. Paige finds it of course very difficult to adjust to her new life, filled with magic, demons and danger. Besides that she suddenly has two older sisters. At first she tries to keep distance, but realizes she doesn't have much of an other choice, and moves in with her older sisters.

The longer they live together, the closer the sisters get. Now they form a more powerful and united Power of Three than ever before, while they trie to combine their wiccan lives with their personal lives. Paige decides to become a little bit less 'superwitch', and not let her magical life interfere with her personal life too much. However, this isn't always easy, though she keeps trying to go to her latest jobs, and struggles with the love in her life.
