GUEST STAR [DREW FULLER RETURNS AS CHRIS] AND THE DONNAS PERFORM — Agent Brody (guest-star Kerr Smith) convinces Paige to help him solve a mysterious string of accidents, only to discover that the demon Sarpedon (guest star Neil Hopkins) is capturing innocents’ Guardian Angels and using them to protect himself from the forthcoming threat of a New Power. Meanwhile, Piper and Phoebe convince Leo to go on a Vision Quest to face his demons. While on his Quest, Leo finds guidance from his son Chris (guest star Drew Fuller), but awakens to find Piper and Phoebe killed by Sarpedon. An Avatar, part of the New Power, offers to bring them back to life if Leo turns over his free will. The Donnas perform at P3. John Paré directed the episode written by Rob Wright.

There is a fire in a building and a man named Quincy must jump in the hope he'll have more chances to survive. Paige, Phoebe, and Brody are on the scene. Miraculously, he is saved. But, he's the fourth fire victim this month and, as Brody reveals, if the pattern holds, Quicy will soon die. In the crowd watching the scene, our demon-du-jour, Sarpedon, who has razor-sharp metallic talons. He has a particular interest in Quincy, or should we say in Quincy's guardian. Sarpedon collects guardians in order for them to watch over him instead of over humans. Sarpedon summons Aku, his mentor, to challenge him to see if he has enough guardians to be ready from when the Great Threat would come. He needs more guardians... will the Charmed Ones and Brody be able to stop him without hurting more innocents or before their own guardians are taken by Sarpedon? Paige gets more interested in Brody. The Donnas are supposed to play at P3. Leo is not doing well but an adult we've seen before will help him through this. Piper also appears in the episode.
