Sorry Gang, Barbara Gordon is still Oracle. I am really mad. Dinah was really out of character, and it turned out that she was really some criminal from Arkham Asylum who captured Barbara and made her fantasy seemingly come to life.  It was an illusion. DC is walking a very fine line by saying "if it's not a dream, and it most certainly isn't..." which is basically a falsehood.

ARE YOU TIRED OF THIS SCENARIO?

I am! Barbara Gordon is better as Batgirl!  Whatsmore, she could still be Oracle, but have a physical crimefighting role as well. 1997 has been one big Batgirl taunt--like flashing candy in front of a baby's face and not giving it to them. I and Jody Rizzuto are proposing a letter-writing campaign to DC Comics.  E-Mail DC Comics and tell them how you feel!  

Batgirl is getting a one-shot: Batgirl Adventure. Poison Ivy has been kidnapped and Harley has to rescue her, but she needs help.  The only hero around is...Batgirl!

Yvonne Craig's recently updated website

Can you say "infinately cool"? I knew you could.  This phrase can describe Yvonne Craig or her new and improved website. It now has a fanclub you can join.

Some of my information in Batgirl (comics) bio was wrong.  I was going by her "pre-crisis" 1985 Who's Who page. But it was revised in 1988, and I have made adjustments. It was mostly minor stuff--her height and weight. But that's about all.

Yvonne Craig comming out with a biography

Yvonne Craig will have a biography written entitled: From Ballet to the Batcave and Beyond.   It is not quite finished, and should be published in a few years. Also, I hear from a personal E-Mail that Adnet--the company that produced her website--is working with her on updating it.

Batgirl in **NEW** Animated Series

Batgirl will be in the new Animated Series entitled Batman. Batgirl will be in EVERY episode--but Melissa Gilbert won't voice her anymore.  Her costume will be changed.  Batgirl is going to know Batman's identity. She is now in the police department, and she digs up computer files for Batman.
