So, do you want to hear about ski camp, or do you just want to see more pictures of me? Oh, fine, I'll tell you about ski camp then. If you want an more in depth assessment of ski camp, why not read my diary entry?

Well, this is me. I'd just finished skiing down Standard, when Mr Campbell was all like 'Hey Lauren, give us a smile' which is why I've got that look on my face. Do you like the sunglasses? They're my dad's, and I ended up with a tan line from them. They were definatly needed though, because the glare was really bad sometimes.

Yes, this is me again. See the run behind me, that's Little Buller Spur. It's a blue run, which means it's medium hard. It's got quite a few step parts in it, and some icy patches. That's why Yasmeen and I were so proud of finishing it. I got to the bottom before the rest of my group, and I only stacked once! I think Yasmeen would have been right up there with me if Porter (hate hate hate) hadn't gome through like a kamekazee and totally snowballed her and 2 other people, one of who didn't even go to our school. Want to know the first thing he said when he got? 'It's alright, I'm fine!' Can you belive it?

This is my friends and I before we left for the Formal Night on Tuesday. From left to right, starting at the top, we have Sunita, Jackie, Me, Fiona, Natasha, Lauren, Caitlin, Yasmeen and Zoe. Did you know that Lauren is also called Lauren Emily, just like me? Of course not, but now that you do, you can die happy, right?
Oh, Jen's not in the picture because she's the one taking it. Luan and Nahida aren't in it either because they didn't come. You can see what Luan and Jen look like on the formal photos page.

And of course, you can't miss out on the photo of the ski instructor. This is Nicko F.J. Yes, I do know what the FJ stands for, but I had to give him breakfast to find out, so I'm not telling you. Nick was sweet, but kind of slow catching onto jokes. He also liked having wine for breakfast and then taking us skiing THROUGH the trees. It was fun, but only because I didn't stack, like the rest of my group did. They were so stupid, and I was so glad we had different groups when skiing with the teachers. Nick also had a tendency to wait till most of us got off the ski lifts alright, then just ski off, without saying where we were going, or even if we should follow him. He stopped just as quickly too. :)

So anyway, that was ski camp 2000. Hope you enjoyed reading about it.

The midi you are to listening to is a song by Enya.
