Helpful stuff:
1. Here's everything you need to know about lab equipment.
2. Here are the answers to that 1st Semester Review Sheet:
If you have any questions, e-mail me.
3. OK, finally here is some extra credit. Don't forget--it must be brought to me at school on Tuesday, January 4, 2000 during normal school hours. You can earn 20 points.
- First, you can buy mole $ points if you haven't already. You may buy up to 30 points if you haven't already. This would be the easiest way to bring up your grade.
- 10 points--Write a worksheet and its answer key for one of these chapters: Ch. 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10. Your worksheet must cover the entire chapter and must be typed. Points will be taken off if your worksheet does not cover the entire chapter, if answers are wrong or do not exist on the answer sheet, and if typing errors are found. You may earn 20 points this way.
- Bring in a roll of paper towels for 1 point. You may earn 3 points this way.
- 5 points--Go searching on the internet for chemistry experiments for little kids. Once you find the page, you must print it out AND it must have the internet address on it. Four different sites will earn you one point, and you can earn up to 5 points this way. (so that would be 20 different experiments!)
- 13 points--Feel like going to the science center? Take a field trip and make a scrap book of your experience. (A scrap book contains pictures!) Look for chemistry related displays and include descriptions and explanations for them in your scrapbook. You must have at least 7 different descriptions in your scrapbook.
