Offering

To share ones true self with another
Is a gift that elates the soul beyond recover.
A gift that shines like the brightest star
More precious than any diamond, by far.

A splendorous sharing of mind and heart
Where hands are outstretched right from the start.
Exposing, offering the being inside,
Never allowing thoughts to run or hide.

And so I offer myself to you .... my sweet,
Inspect, observe, analyze ... examine complete.
The fortress is demolished and guards no more
Come, explore ... and together ... we may soar.
