INSTRUCTIONS

- Combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl. Combine water, applesauce, and
vanilla; stir mixture well. Add applesauce mixture to dry ingredients,
stirring with a wire whisk until blended. Set aside.
- Beat Cream cheese at medium speed.of an electric mixer until creamy. Add
powdered sugar and egg, beating until blended. Set aside.
- Place paper baking cups in muffin pans, and coat with cooking spray; spoon
chocolate batter into cups, filing half full. Spoon cream cheese mixture
evenly over chocolate batter. Sprinkle chocolate morsels and almonds evenly
over cream cheese mixture.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in
center come out clean. Let cool on a wire rack 5 minutes. Remove from pans,
and let cool completely on wire rack.
