White: The whites are the rarest of all pernese dragons. They are half size and either male or female, and can be Impressed by either sex. They will only mate whites and only go to the absolute best weyrs. They only come from a whites clutches or a golds. They lay all types of eggs.
Gold: The next rarest dragons. They are only female and only Impressed by females. They mate with bronzes and very rarely, browns. They are the largest dragons. They come from a white's or a gold's clutch, and can lay all types of eggs. They'll clutch about fifteen to thirty eggs normally.
Bronze: The next rarest dragons. They are the next largest, and are always male and only Impressed my males. They fly the golds and only come from a gold's or white's clutch.
Brown: These dragons are male and only Impressed by males. They come from a gold, white or green's clutch. Occasionally they'll fly a queen but normally greens only.
Blue: They are always male and are impressed by males and occasionly females. They only fly greens and can come from all colour's clutches.
Green: The smallest and commonest of the dragons, they are always female and can be Impressed by either sex. They come from any clutch and are flown by browns or blues. Our greens are usually not eating firestone, and therefore are not sterile. They can have up to ten eggs consisting of greens, blues and browns.
Whites: Only mate with whites. Can clutch up to 20 eggs of any type.
Gold: Flown by either bronzes and occasionally browns. Can clutch from fifteen to thirty eggs normally of any type.
Greens: Flown by either blues or browns. They clutch up to ten eggs that are greens, blues and browns. Ours normally don't eat firestone and are not sterile.
On Pern were Fire-Dragonets. They could be Impressed and teleport. They would burn Thread by chewing fire-stone. From them Kitty Ping breed the fire-lizards, and then dragons. They look basically almost the same, but are bigger. The dragons could still flame and teleport. Watch-whers were engineered later by WindBlossom Ping. She did not have the smae grasp on genetics as Kitty and her eggs produced the watch-whers. They had small, useless wings, but were useful as watch gaurds. They can also be Impressed.
Celeste Weyr is located on an island north-east of Benden. On any good map, if you find a pensular near the top, north-east of Benden, and go straight west of it you will see another larger island on wich Celeste is located. It was officially formed when Moon Cascade Weyr on the Southern Continant was destroyed by they 'extint' volcano it had been formed in. Only very few riders and dragons survived. They came to Celeste, which had been a mountain used by a few riders who had to leave their old Weyr for its huge population, and changed it into the perfect Weyr. The mountain has been hollowed out be years of exposure to weather, and bubble in the rock were found and used as weyrs. When a dragon flies into the bowl from the souch, the first they see is a large lake with a small penned of section. This lake is called 'Lake MoonRise' for when it the first riders flew into Celeste they saw one of the moons reflecting its light into it, as it rose. At the north end of the lake is a marvolous waterfall from a river that travels from the mountain hights, Celeste is only a section of the mountain, Mt MoonDawn. Many dragons bathe in the lake and it is often occupied by swimmers, it's a popular place to go for a chat. Opposite the lake, on the south end, is the opening to the main hatching grounds. Two other grounds are on either side, and also is the candidate barracks and the weyrling barracks. Above this area is the queens wing, which isn't yet open. It is called Ray of Light Wing. To either side of it is Dreamshine Wing and Dreamlight Wing. On the eastern side of the bowl is Moondance Wing and on the west side is Sundance Wing. As Celeste is young, only Dreamshine and Dreamlight are occupied, and more weyrs are being built. When Unreth's first clutch hatches Ray of Light will open, and Sundance, we expect. The Lower Caverns are on the east and west side.
