- A great place to look out over Frontierland especially near the top.
- Not too long ago, I think, they added the parrots near the front entrance which really add a "tropical island" feel to the attraction.
- The Swiss Family Treehouse closed in 1998 to make way for Tarzan's Treehouse, which both made the attractiom relevant for a modern audience and improved many of its features. But the Treehouse, whether housing the Robinson's or Tarzan, still lives in Disneyland. added 01.29.01
Pointless Trivia
- Children from Switzerland and the West Indies, and the Swiss Consulate attended the opening ceremonies of the attraction. The Swiss Consulate presented Walt Disney a Swiss flag to be flown over the treehouse. (The E-Ticket, Spring 1996).
- The budget of the ride was $254,900 (of which $40,000 was spent on just the leaves). (Ibid)
- The lively music that is the trademark of the attraction is "Swiskapolka" by Buddy Baker. (Ibid)
