This is the Lord's bed chamber. The hole in the wall in the centre of the photo is a fire place which would be constantly warming the room. On the left of the photo is one of the two exits. There were two in case of a raid so the Lord could through one exit while the guards protected him by guarding the entrance the enemy were coming through. On the right of the photo is the hollow where the overnight guard would stand, so that no one could kill the Lord whilst he was sleeping.
