The toilet

The toilet is next to the medieval kitchen. The toilet is a hole on some stone slabs. There are two holes next to each other so your friend or anybody who happens to be there can sit next to you and have a natter. The way the toilet works is by the waste going out of the hole and then it goes down the side of the castle and then the rain will wash it away .

In the medieval times they didn't have toilet paper so they used moss or some leaves.

The shaft which leads to the toilet has wind going up to it so on a frosty morning oh boy won't it be cold!
