Hi, I am the mascot from Seneca, MO. Here is what I have been up to!
Sept. 15, 1999
I was sent today to Avon Lake, OH. I get to go Federal Express because
Nathan's dad works there and they can send me cheap. I won't have to go to mailboxes and I will get there faster.
I want everyone to hold me and hug me.

I am on my way to Massachusetts. I enjoyed Mrs. Blankenship's class for the month. One of the last activities I helped with
before I left was the making of a firehat. I just had to have one
too! The children will miss me.

I arrived on Friday from Ohio. I came after the children had left for the day. I will write more on Monday.

I arrived yesterday at Erwin Valley School. Mrs. Jones' class was so excited to see me--all of them wanted to hold me. On Friday, I am going to the Christmas Tree Farm. I heard Mrs. Jones talking and I think I am going to have cookies and lemonade and see someone special.

I really enjoyed my visit with Mrs. Jones' class during December and part of
January. I was lucky enough to help the kids with all of their holiday
preparations and celebrations. I even went to the Christmas tree farm and
helped the children pick out a tree!!!! After Christmas vacation, I
helped the children start their R&R Express program. It is a program where
kids get to chose a book to take home for their parents to read it to them.
When they return the book to school they get to retell the story to a parent
volunteer. The kids really like this program-I could fit into their R&R
Express bags. We started a theme about snow and then it was time for me to
move on to a new class.
