Mrs. Butterfield's class in Ovideo, Florida welcomes me to Lawton
Elementary.

I made it safely to Buda, Texas today! The kids were so happy to see such a
cuddly black bear. This week we have studied all about pumpkins and I
helped estimate how many seams (ribs) are in our class pumpkin. We will send
some great photos next week!

Fall is in the air in Buda, TX. We are so excited about a cool front expected this week. We are ready to wear jackets and sweaters. This week we are learning all about scarecrows and fall. What a great time of year!!!! Later this week we are going on a fall walk and look for fall leaves......I get to go with them!!!!!

I am in the mail to Missouri today.....I have enjoyed
the warm, dry climate of central Texas. I am anxious to get to cooler weather. The Knezek Clowns have had a great time with me...they think
bears are very cool! Thank you very much for sharing such a well
behaved bear with our class. The kids look forward to the next traveling mascot...they like to guess who will be next!

I got to Missouri safely. The kids were glad that I didn't get in a wreck. They like to hug me.
I love them. They really like the smile on my face. I am having fun here.
I have been learning everything Mrs. Gaines' class does.
