Fibonacci numbers
(Mum made this picture for me.)
The Fibonacci numbers are
0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13,
(add the last two numbers to get the next
one)
In the units column the numbers cycle
every 60 numbers.
every 3rd Fibonacci number is a multiple of
2
every 4th Fibonacci number is a multiple of
3.
This is a Fibonacci Spiral. It happens in
nature as the shape of a snail shell or nautilus. They are also called Equiangular
or Logarithmic spirals.
