The original home of the soft pretzel and the one of a kind Philly cheesesteak, Tastykakes and hoagies. A city with a pleasant mix of the historical and the modern. Its founder,William Penn, imagined a "Greene Countrie Towne". It was to be a city of refuge for Europes persecuted
masses. Philadelphia soon flourished into a center of learning and culture.
A city of firsts. The first circulating library. The first mint. Americas's first hospital, and first fire company. These achievements largely due to the efforts of "a printer from Boston", but certainly one of Philadelphia's true sons - Benjamin Franklin.
