Last weekend me and my mom went to Atlanta, Ga. We had to leave George with my mom's mom. It took a long time to get there. But we made a couple of stops getting snacks. The first day we went to Stone Mountain Park. Stone Mountain Park has a lot of stuff to do. We rode the Stone Mtn. Railroad first, it was a train that took us all the way around the mountain. Then we rode the cable car to the top of the mountain. You can probably see the whole city from up there. We we rode the cable lift down my mom was really scared and so was I. Tim wasn't though. We left after we went to the Car Museum. We went home and went to bed. I got a Stone Mountain necklace for a souvenir. |

On Sunday, we went to Zoo Atlanta. We saw a lot of animals - flamingo, elephants, rhinos, zebras, lions, otters, orangutans, and the giant pandas. All they did was sleep the whole time. We got a stuffed panda from the panda gift shop We also saw the world of Reptiles. After that we went on the zoos train ride and I rode the carousel. Then we left and went home. |

On Monday, Memorial Day we didn't do much. We went out for breakfast at Steak and Shake then went to Media Play and got some books. It rained most of the day so we didn't get to do much. On Tuesday my mom and me rode the subway downtown to Atlanta. We went in the Atlanta Planet Hollywood and looked around and I got a key chain for a souvenir. Then we went to the top of the Peachtree Plaza hotel, it is a round 73 story skyscraper. There were telescopes up there, you could see everywhere!! Then we went to the Centennial Olympic park and took some more pics. |
