I fell in love with manatees when we went to Florida on vacation. Too many manatees are hurt every year. Mostly by boaters. Manatees like to hang around andd feed off of plants in the water and most boaters don't know they are even there. Manatees are vegetarians. They are actually very gentle creatures.
