This Harpy Eagle is one of two at the Fort Worth Zoo
in Texas. Harpy Eagles are native to South American
Rainforests. They are the only resident of the extremely
elevated emergent layer of the forest. They are large
enough to prey on monkeys that are not quick enough to escape them.
