Hello and welcome to our March 1999 Newsletter!

We would like to thank all those who have made this Unofficial 
Blue's Clues fan Club fun and enjoyable!  We now have around 7,000
fans in our unofficial fan club!  

We appreciate all the emails taht Thank us for the newsletter and for
having a Blue's Clues Fan club for their kids!  These emails mean a 
lot to us!  I wish there was more time in the day to make it even
better!

We also appreciate those that print out the Newsletter and pass them
along to friends and co-workers that don't have internet access!

Blue's Big Treasure Hunt
------------------------
What is Blue's Big Treasure Hunt Event?

Join Steve, Blue and friends for the premiere episode of Blue's Big 
Treasure Hunt on March 14, at 9:30 PM EST on Nickelodeon and help Blue 
solve Blue's Clues.

Blue's Big Treasure Hunt leads us to unlock doors that we have not seen 
before and guides us to skidoo into a land here we meet characters from 
our favorite stores.

Each character holds a piece of the treasure map and a "key" to where 
the treasure is.

So, get ready and get set to help Blue and Steve find the secret 
treasure. Who knows what you'll find? But, one thing's for sure, with 
Blue's Clues, the hunt promises to be just as exciting as the treasure!

Join Us for our own online fun!

Date: March 9th-15th

For our Contest we are hiding the 3 Treasure Hunt Clues somewhere on 
the two sites, Lisa's Toys and Willie's Unofficial Blues Clues Activity 
Pages. When you find the clue, and it will give you a hint as to where 
you will find the next clue. When you find the last clue, click on it, 
and it will bring up a form to file out with the locations of all 3 
clues, and what they Blue's Clues answer is.

Enter limited to once per person per day. Stop back by the next day, 
and the clues may or may not be in the same location. Only correct 
locations of the clues will be count. 

All information obtained will be only used for this contest, and will 
not be sold or distributed.

scanner, please scan them and send them to us, and we will create a 
"BC Fan Artist Gallery" online.

Blue's Clues News

Nickelodeon Stores
------------------
Last Year, Viacom started opening up Nickelodeon Stores all across the 
United States.  This was great news to everyone.  We were expecially 
happy when they opened one of the stores within 1 1/2 hours drive!  I 
don't know about you, but I could spend a fortune (and did) in there.  

Well, As of January 31st all the Nickelodeon Stores are now closed 
down.  Including Viacom's 888-9VIACOM number.  The only stores that 
carry the exclusive Blue's Clues Merchandise are the Amuzement Parks, 
and Sears (Clothing). 

I was very disappointed when I found out that they were closing.  A 
very nice Blue's Clues Fan Mom called me to see if I knew anything 
about it.  But at that point I was as suprised as she was.  Even 
Nickelodeon wouldn't say anything about when or why they were closing. 
I can't beleive that they weren't making money.  


Sears
-----
Sears stores now exclusivly carry the BC Clothing.  They have PJ's, 
Swim Suits, T-shirts, coveralls, underpants, tennis shoes and more! 
They are now even carrying some T-shirts to fit Teenage girls!  Finally 
they are starting to figure out that Blue's Clues is not just for 
preschoolers, and that Teenages like it to!  I was so happy to when we 
went to Sears to get Willie some clothes, that they had a girls XL 
T-shirt, that fit me. *S* (Well as long as noone drires it! *S*).

Willie lives in his PJ's that I got him.  He wears them everywhere.  
When we went out of town last month, he got into his suitcase and got 
the PJ shirt out and put it on.  He didn't care that we were still 
traveling, he just wanted to wear it.  LOL  And, he also can't wait 
until summer to go swimming with his new swim trunks. 

The prices at Sears are less than the Nickelodeon Stores were charging. 
Make sure and Join their Kids CLothing Club, to help save on future 
urchases.  

Sears only has the exclusive BC Clothing line until September. After 
that other stores will start carrying the clothing.

Well the 1999 Toy Fair is no over and they are starting to release
