Norman was born in Phoenix Dec.4, 1935. After a brief stint in Miami, he grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. He went to college and medical school at the University of Florida. He married Linda in 1958. Shortly after completing residency, he was drafted and spent 3 years at Ft. McClellan, Alabama before finally moving to Miami. He remains a practicing internist, currently working at the VA Hospital in Miami. He still enjoys his 20-30 mile bike rides on weekends.
