Stupid facts about Ivki

Well, this page should be some kind of autobiography, but I really don't know why should anybody read this (except my future bosses... maybe...). OK, I'll write here some stupidities so you can read it (I wouldn't recommend that, though)

By the way, how to write an autobiography???

For the millionth time, my name is Ivana Bosnić and my nickname is Ivki. I was born on March, 4th, 1983. in Zadar, Croatia. I have four elder, great brothers whose names are Ivan, Leo, Sven & Mladen. Ivan is the eldest, he works (together with Leo) on a place where I would like to work - The Faculty of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, in a Laboratory for Systems and Signals (although it doesn't have to be that department; math department would be nice, too). Sven has finished Faculty of Architecture and Theology. Mladen plays lots of instruments and his one and only love is music.

Well, I thought this is an autobiography....

I didn't go to kindergarten like a kid... Mum and brothers have taken care of me (but I was a good kid, too). I attended primary school OŠ 'Stanovi' and spent there strange eight years. Some teachers were so bad (but some were very good)...

I finally finished that stage of education and now I'm very happy 'cause I go to best secondary school in the whole world!!! I attend Grammar school Franjo Petrić in Zadar (I'm in the second grade now...) and I must tell you: there's great!!! Friends in my class (and in whole school, too) are just great, teachers are also great (can you believe me???)... Last school year (first in this school) finished so quick that I can't believe it... I hope this one will, too...

What after finished primary school??? I hope I'll go to Faculty of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science. I'm just a bit afraid of physics, 'cause, although I like it very much, and it's one of my favourite subjects (with math and computers), sometimes I have big problems with it... And that faculty is full of physics...

What next? I'll be very happy if I could stay on that faculty like some kind of scientist. If not, I'd like to work in a place with more than couple computers, to administrate them. Maybe even programming something (although I know some comp. languages, programming isn't my real love).

But what now? Everything here is talking about past or future... the school has started, I do something on my computer all the time, I learn more about Turbo Pascal, Visual Basic 5.0 and & C++, clean my computer from shareware garbage (don't misunderstand me, I have nothing against shareware, but I'd prefer if it would be with less bugs...). I write lots of e-mails, play The Dig, I was on the Summer math school in Split. There was just GREAT!!! I met a lot of fun, nice kids, my new friends... I was in Zagreb, too, on VIII. Mathematical meeting (preparations for Mathematical Olympiad; calm down, I'm not in the Olympic group :-)) You probably ask yourself how did I get there; well, I was on the Croatian Math competition and I won the first award...It was great there in Zagreb, we learned a lot and had a lot of fun...

Otherwise, I care much more about computers than about math. Like I already said, I like administrating computers, programming (although it's not my favorite), even experimenting... I like playing games, of course. My favorites are: Dune II, XCom2: Terror From The Deep, Warcraft II, Age Of Empires, The Dig, Warlords II... You see that I like strategies a lot. I also like adventures with hand-made graphics (Indiana Jones: Fate of Atlantis) and arcade car races...

I also like a game that lots of people ignore (even don't know what's that)... I like Tetris!!! I like all variations of this great game, but my dearest is original Tetris (for good, old DOS) by A. Pajitnov & V. Gerasinov. Here you can download it - 15 Kb only - (together with my high scores) to try it! If you beat my record send me a mail! I'd like to meet that person (by the way, I passed the highest counter spot and started from minus!!!)!

I love reading, too; My favorites are Agatha Christie's crime books and SF (science facts more than science fiction), but very often I also read books about computers from the local library...

It's enough about me, isn't it? (did anybody read all this???)
