Hedgehogs.

By Liam.

Hedgehogs hibernate in winter. The fat in their bodies keeps them alive. Hedgehogs hide when they hibernate. They will hide in a hay

barn or in a bush. They roll in a ball when they sleep. They wake up in spring.

Hedgehogs eat hen's eggs.

Hedgehogs eat grubs and they eat all different bugs. Hedgehogs eat slugs, snails and bugs.

Hedgehogs have fur. Hedgehogs have a little black nose. They put saliva all over their quills. They have a bulb on the end of their spines. You can hold them by their spines and they can move their spines. Hedgehogs have five little toes on their feet and five little claws on their toes. Hedgehogs have little teeth. They have four little legs and they can run fast.
