Also, talk with your parents about where you are going, and what time you will be back by, espically if you are going out with friends and their parents. Even if your parents are coming, you need to agree on limits.
- Have a parent check your treats before you eat ANY of them, to make sure that they are okay, and have never been opened before.
- Never go out Trick-Or-Treating alone. Instead go in a group with your friends, and a few parents.
- Never go into somebodies house, no matter how well you know them.
- Always wear light colored costumes, or put on Glow in the dark tape on your costume so that cars can see you.
- Always carry a flashlight or a glow stick when you go out.
- Don't make/get costumes that are heavy or too long for you. You don't want to trip when you are out.
- Try to avoid using masks, because they make it hard for you to see where you are going, and you could trip. Instead, use face paint.
- When using wigs, beards, etc. try the best you can to keep them away from your eyes and mouth. You need to be able to breathe!
