Jordan is continuing to keep her strength. She has had IV Solumedrol treatments for quite some time. She has been very brave and never makes a wimper when being stuck. We've been fortunate to have wonderful nurses each time we go. They seem to take extra good care of Jordan.

Jordan saw Dr. C March 20th and he seems please with her condition. He said her lab worked continues to look good and the disease is under control. He felt her strength had improved, but more importantly, he felt that the physical therapy had improved her range of motion in her arms and shoulders. Her hamstrings continue to be tight, but not enough to prevent her from have normal movement. He wrote a prescription for school provided therapy twice a week. We suggested this, as she has a hard time maintaining her home program. Jordan doesn't want any of her classmates to know that she is ill. We told her that we will see how her she does with home program. If she does well, we'll skip the school therapy.

This past week of school has seemed easier on Jordan. Her classmates behavior has been upsetting her more so over the last few months. It may be due to the medications. She's aware of her flair up and I'm sure it concerns her. We've spoke to the counselor, principal and teachers about the problem. Hopefully we can make it through the school year. We are considering private schooling next year if she continues to complain.

She had spring break last week and spent some time with my brother's family. His family and my mother came to visit for a few days. We took the kids to a wild life park that they really enjoyed. Last weekend Joe and Jordan took a trip to Lake Limestone to visit with his family. Jennifer and I stayed home because she had to help with a cheerleading clinic. Then this weekend, Jordan went camping with her girl scout troop. She came home this morning a little tired, but she enjoyed the trip.

We are anticipating only good results from her present treatments and look forward to the day she is off all medication.
