  Karen Linnenkohl, born 1965 in Goettingen/Germany.
   
1988 Graduate of the graphic design program at the Artcollege Hamburg.
1988-89 Workexperience in Sao Paulo, Brazil with the Hans-Staden-Culture Institute.
1989-91 Freelance work in graphic and design in Hamburg and Berlin
1991-97 Fine art studies at the Hochschule der Kuenste Berlin with professor Bernd Koberling and Katharina Karrenberg.
1994 Scholarship from the Universidad del Pais Vasco in Bilbo, Spain, and 6 months internship with Big Time Comunications in Monterey, California.
1997 Master of Fine Arts from the Hochschule der Kuenste Berlin
