How Does Sound Travel Over the Radio? -For almost one hundred years, radio has allowed us to send sounds over the air.  How, exactly, is this done?  This activity shows you how this is possible.

Can you Identify Whale Sounds? -Whales produce sounds for two reasons- echolocation and communication.  This site allows you to hear the unique sounds that different whales produce.  You also get to look at oscilloscope readouts of what these whale sounds look like.  Make sure that you click on the "Next" button to get to the next whale sound.

Museum of Music Inventions -This is really great site if you want to see what kinds of instruments that other kids have created.

Playmusic.org -This site is full of great activities that will give you a better understanding about all of the instruments that you find in an orchestra.  You will need shockwave for this website.
