The Girls

In September 1997 we traveled to Michigan to adopt Gretel. Gretel was a champion blue-eyed white Jersey Wooly. She had the biggest, bluest eyes you ever saw. She was a show rabbit who came to us because she couldn't have babies anymore and she wanted to retire and become a pet.

I wasn't happy about having another rabbit around, but we soon became friends.

Sadly, Gretel was only with us until that December when she crossed over the rainbow bridge.
