Blackberry Wine

 

Ingredients:

3 pounds of Blackberries

3 pounds of Sugar

1 gallon of boiling Water

Wash berries and place in a large bowl. Pour in the gallon of boiling water. Stir well, then cover the bowl and lea ve for 10 days. Strain liquid into new bowl through muslin, add the sugar and stir well, cover and leave for 3 days. Stir this once a day for those 3 days. Put into bottles and cork loosely at first and then tightly after a few weeks. The wine will be ready in 6 months.
