List of the Goddesses

 

Aphrodite: Greek. Goddess of all love and beauty. She will assist you in all kinds of love magick and many physical glamories.

Aradia: Italian. Queen of the Witches and daughter of Diana. She is very powerful and can be used in all types of magick. She is the protectress of all Witches.

Arianrhod: Welsh. Goddess of the heavenly stars and reincarnation. Call on her to help with memories, especially those concerning past lives.

Artemis: Greek. Goddess of the hunt and one of the Goddesses of the moon. A protectress of women and the Amazons, also a perpetual maiden and virgin. She should be used in empowerment spells, spells to help women and maiden studies.

Astarte: Greek. Fertility Goddess. Astarte should be invoked in any kind of fertility spell or ritual, anything from a baby to a flourishing garden.

Bast: Egyptian. A Goddess in the form of a cat, she had connections to mysticism and protection.

Brigid: Celtic. Warrior and triple Goddess. This Goddess is wise and strong she can be invoked when protecting children.

Ceres: Roman. Goddess of grain and agriculture. Invoke Ceres when assistance is needed in gardening. Second aspect of the triple moon.

Cerridwen: Welsh. Goddess of the moon and the harvest, the third aspect of the triple moon.

Demeter: Greek. Earth mother, invoked to help at a mother' s time of need, birthing or in assistance when searching for a loved one. Second aspect of the triple moon.

Diana: Roman. Moon and Hunt Goddess, a maiden figure and the first aspect of the triple moon.

Dryads: Greek. Tree nymphs.

Flora: Roman. Spring Goddess and Goddess of Flowers. Can be called when in need of help in gardening.

Freya: Scandinavian. A Goddess of love and beauty.

Hathor: Egyptian. A sly and lovely protectress of women.

Hecate: Greek. Goddess of witches and the dark moon. Invoke Hecate for power in witchcraft. She is the crone aspect of the triple moon.

Hera: Greek. Goddess of commitment and marriage. Often invoked in handfasting ceremonies.

Hestia: Greek. Goddess of the hearth and home. Invoke for anything having to do with finding a house or improving a home.

Isis: Egyptian. The triple Goddess as one being.

Kali: Hindu. Creative and destructive Goddess, protectress of abused women.

Lillith: Hebrew. Goddess of higher intelligence and equality for women.

Maat: Egyptian. Goddess of justice and order. If you wish to invoke her make sure you are truly innocent.

Morga: Celtic. Goddess of magick and witches. She is said to have learned her magick from Merlin. She also doubled as the Lady of the Lake.

The Muses: Greek. Goddesses and sister patrons of the arts and inspiration. The Muses can be invoked together or separately. There are nine muses:

Nuit: Egyptian. Goddess of the sky, mother aspect of the triple moon.

Persephone: Greek. Perpetual maiden and Goddess of Hades.

Selene: Greek. Moon Goddess in mother form.

Valkyries: Scandinavian. Warrior women who carry to heaven the souls lost in battle.
