Camp Wannagohoma Sketch
Theme Song:Hiking over brush and brier. Getting stuck in muck and mire. Singing nightly by the fire. Camp Wannagohoma, we love you.
Grover:Alright, campers, halt 1, 2, 3, whatever! Alright, relax! Today, as we hike along in the great out doors, I, your furry camp counselor Grover, I know many things, and you do not. So I will tell you what is alive and what is not alive. Ok? For instance, um, here, argh uh, my hiking boot here. You see my booty? My booty is alive.
Kids:No it isn't!
Grover:What do you mean it is not? Look, look. My booty is moving. See the booty move? That means it is alive.
Kids:Your foot is alive!
Grover:Oh, yes! That's what I meant. My foot inside the boot is alive is what I meant. Forget it. Let us move on. Ok and... Look, look! Campers, notice the cute and pretty flowers. You see these flowers? Now, you will notice that the flowers are not moving so the flowers are not alive.
Kids:Yes they are!
Grover:They are, huh? Uh, they are! Of course they are! Yes! That is what I meant. Uhm, they are because... Why are they alive?
Kids:They're growing!
Grover:They're growing? Well, you mean these little things grow and then... Yes! I knew that! Of course, I knew that! Ok! Um? Ok, I tell ya what, rest period!
Kids:Rest period! Ok! Yeah! Yay!
Grover:Forget about the boot... fine... forget about the boot, the flowers, everything. Let us just sit down and... Aha! I'm going to sit down on this rock right here, and one thing is for certain, I know that this rock here, this rock is definetly not alive.
Kids:Yes it is!
Grover:Oh go on with ya! A rock is not alive. It does not grow. It just sits here like a rock. Mmhm.
Kids:It's not a rock. It's a turtle!
Grover:It's a turtle?
Kids:And turtles are alive!
Grover:You, uh... Oh, I guess uh, I guess rest period's over. Where are we going? Taxi!
