Disaster!

Disaster! Severe thunderstorms have postponed the scheduled game between the Dom-Land Caribou and the Rohan Riders. In fact, the Caribou are currently stuck in the team bus on the plains of Rohan.

"I'm so booooooooored," complained Pippin. Apparently the batteries in his gameboy finally wheezed their last.

"We have hope that the storm shall pass," said Aragorn, who brought ye unending royale paperworke of Gondor and Arnor along to keep him occupied.

"It shall not pass!" said Gandalf, whose sleeping medication had the reverse effect of making the 'Bou goalie rather chatty and punchy.

Merry wrapped two rolls of hockey tape around Boromir's spare stick, which now resembles a big, black, lumpy lollipop.

Boromir has been trying to come up with a tactful way of refusing to let his father stay with him...for any length of time. He may want to invest in heavy duty scissors. Or another stick.

Sam decided to count all the raindrops, ended up hypnotizing himself and has been in a semi-vegetative state ever since. Frodo covered him with a spare jersey and only barely convinced Pippin and Merry not to draw pictures on him. The former ringbearer has been standing guard with one of Gandalf's extra blockers.

Legolas is still sulking at the back of the bus with his headphones on, piecing together nastier names to call Haldir at their next meeting. Apparently, he's stuck on "not a natural blonde."

Gimli has spent his free time making origami birds, flowers, boxes, giraffes and weapons out of the extra stat sheets.

Bubbles has been pacing on the top of the bus, screaming for the rain to stop.

The Rohan game has been postponed until next week (tentative) when it will be the second game of a double header. Next week's regularly scheduled game is a MEHA Championship rematch between the Caribou and the Ringwraiths.

(Translation: My home internet access is dead. I won't be able to update properly until at least next week. Lashings of apologies!!)

Back to Caribou.
