Treasure Pocket
Here are your directions to make a Treasure Pocket.

has the templates to use for cutting out the felt.
These are the supplies you will need:
Medium weight felt in these colors:
Brown
Tan
Cream
Pink
White
Red
One shoe lace, 30 inches long, brown, white or whatever you like.
Scissors for paper, scissors for felt.
Pencil
Craft glue ( or sewing skills)
Sewing pins
Steps to make your Treasure Pocket
1. Print out the pattern and instuctions sheet.
2. Cut out pattern pieces with paper scissors.
3. Pin each pattern piece to the proper color felt and cut out OR trace the
pattern and cut out. Cut the slit in the back of the Body (#1)
4. Fold the body (#1) in half and glue together, leaving the pocket area free
to slide the shoe lace through.
5. Snip around the edges of the mane (#2) to make a fringe.
6. Now glue the mane to the body with the open loop of the body at the top.
7. Attach the face features to the face circle (#11) in this order:
Eyebrows (#5)
Mouth (#10)
Nose (#8)
Nose (#9)
Eyes (#6)
Pupils (#9)
8. Attach the ear centers (#4) to the ears (#3).
9. Attach the ears to the BACK of the face.
10. Attach the face to the mane (#2)
11. Slide the shoe lace through the loop on the top of your Treasure Pocket and
tie around your neck.
Now you have a place for small trinkets, lunch money, any small thing you want
to carry with you.
