Giant Bubbles |
1 gallon warm water
1 C Dawn or Joy dishwashing liquid
2 T - 1/4 C corn syrup (Try a little and if the bubbles pop too quickly, add a little more. The corn syrup "slows down" the bubble stuff so that the bubbles last longer, but you don't want it to be too "slow" or bubbles won't form at all.)

- Gently stir all ingredients being careful not to form little bubbles as your stir. The bubble stuff works better if you let it set overnight.
- Bend a hanger into a giant bubble wand (it doesn't have to be perfectly circular). Wrap the sides of the hanger with cotton string to make the bubble stuff cling to the wand better.
- Dip the giant bubble wand into the bubble stuff and slowly pull through the air.
You can use a hula hoop and a child's wading pool to make really giant bubbles, but it doesn't work very well if the air is too dry or if it is windy.
