Workshops take place at The Encouragement Zone, which is located at 1117 Washington St., Cedar Falls, Iowa.  They run from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm each day, leaving plenty of time for rest and recreation. Terry has continental breakfast for workshop participants at 8:30 every morning. Lunch break is one hour long, usually at noon, but this varies according to the day’s schedule. The Zone is close to many restaurants and shopping in the Cedar Falls area.  Check out the Cedar Falls link (below) for places to eat and shop.

The Encouragement Zone is approved by the Association for Play Therapy to offer continuing education specific to play therapy. Our provider number is 99-055. The Encouragement Zone maintains responsibility for the programs.

Workshops can be custom-designed for groups of six or more for your organization, and can be done at the Encouragement Zone or the location of your choice.

Cancellation Policy :  In general, deposits are non-refundable.  Deposits will be refunded when workshops are cancelled due to low enrollment.  (I will let you know if this is necessary as far in advance of the workshop as possible. Please confirm that the workshop is a “go” prior to making travel reservations.) Deposits may also be refunded due to illness or family emergency, but only if you have notified Terry in advance of the start of the workshop.
