~~~~ I'm not sure how much you know about what so I'll try to go over it in fair detail. You may want to write,or print the actual transload instructions down so you don't have to keep comming back to this page. If you have any questions don't hesitate to write. First you'll need to set up a homepage account. I'd suggest Angelfire as they allow linking to just about everything. Next, you may want to put the transloader on an F-key. It just makes it easier. But thats up to you.
|
~~~~ When you see something you want to load (gif,jpg,mid,ram,au,mod) use your goto button and get the URL for the file. Ex: |
~~~~CC&p the URL Goto the transloader. On the first page place the URL into the first text field. This text field has a button under it that says "proceed to step 2" After placing the URL into this text field click "procede to step 2" button. This will take you to the next page. You will see 6 text fields The first will have the URL you just loaded. Leave this text field as it is.
~~~~The next says "FTP HOST" This is where your homepage account is. You'll add your FTP HOST into this text field
~~~~ Next says FTP DIR. You can break your homepage into directories. But, you'll have to do that in your file manager. So, if you're just begining and you don't wish to do this right now, you can just leave this text feild blank.
~~~~ Next text field is for use if you want to change the file extention. Like in the URL example I used earlier. The file extention is ghost.gif you can change it to spook.gif or spector.gif or whatever you want. but the extention (IE: .gif .mid .jpg) must be the same as the URL you are loading. Or you can leave it blank and it will give you the same file name and extention that is already there.
~~~~
Your next text field is for your FTP name Example:
~~~~
last but not least is the password for your account. place your password in the last text field.

~~~~Then press the "transload" button you will be taken to the next page scroll down (good thing you know how to scroll LOL) there will be a list of crap. you want to look about 5 lines up from the bottom If the transload went throught right you will see "Port command successfull" If it doesn't work it will tell you otherwise. And that's about it.
~~~~This is long because I wanted to write in everything I could think of. But once you get it down you'll be doing it without even thinking. (and if your like me that is good because I try to think as little as possible)
~~~~Ps: One last thing. Beside each textfield you'll see a little blue square. After you have filled in all your info (FTP host, name and pass) move your cursor onto theses squares one at a time and "click" them. You wont see anything happen, but it will save the stuff you wrote in so you don't have to write it in every time. Like I said, if you have any questions feel free to write.
~~~~ The next transloader I'll go over is the freeloader. I keep two different loaders on my F-keys because one will sometimes be too busy to use when I want to use it. So, It's nice to have an alternative.
~~~~ First, obtain the URL for your image. Then, go to the Freeloader
~~~~Scroll down and place the URL of the image or sound you wish to load. You will see five textfeilds bolow this text feild fill them out as follows
~~~~You will then see 4 buttons below these text fields. They will be marked 'Freeloader#1' 'Freeloader#2' 'Freeloader#3' 'Freeloader#4'. Click any one.
~~~~You will then be taken to the next page. Just scroll down to the large text field and it will inform you as to whether your image or sound loaded properly
~~~~Well, that's it for the transloader tutorials. I hope I helped you out. Take it easy.
