Once In Love Sitting in a classroom by the window So bored out of mind and depressed Gazing at the school yard thinking Wondering what’s missing in my life The teacher speaks out loud Drawing everybody’s attention I ignore the teacher’s command Till I heard a sweet voice I turned my head with curiosity and enthusiasm My eyes wide open in shock I see this celestial figure by the door Walking down the isle Sitting next to me My heart beating uncontrollably I was in love. We became close partners Until one day after seasons passed She moved to another place Away from the love and caring I was about to give her Never saying goodbye My heart shattered into countless pieces My body into shock cannot withstand the pain I was lonely and depressed once more Thinking of her worsens my deep scar. My phone rings annoyingly Wondering who could it be I answered and almost fainted It was her Her voice sounding so soothing Listening to every word she speaks I heard something different out of the ordinary Three words that made me tear and happy She said in a soft passionate voice “I love you.” |
