Why Cats are better:

1. Dogs bite and growl, and sometimes are just plain nasty! Have you ever heard of a cat killing or maiming a person? Dogs on the other hand....
2. Dogs bark, and bark and bark and bark....
3. Cats bury their messes with dirt or litter. Dogs leave it there for all to see and smell....and step in!
4. Cats are quiet, clean and mysterious...Dogs are loud, come home smelling like dead gophers, and are as clumsy and as foolishly open-hearted as a clown.
5. Cats are, it seems, the most written about animal...Dogs are, well, the most televised animal.
6. When cats grow up, they stay cute, when dogs grow up, they grow ugly!
7. When there is more than one cat, cats don't bother trying to be better than one another.
8. Dogs try to become top dog, and if they do, they render you helpless. Cats on the other hand, don't bother with that power control stuff! They already know they rule the house :)
9. Cats don't drink out of the toilet and then come and lick you! Meow, enough said...!
10. Cats show affection in much more...appropriate ways.
11. Cats look, and probably are much more natural than dogs. I mean, look at the chihuahua. How many dogs did they have to inbreed to mutate the poor thing?
12. Cats are smart in many ways, especially instinctively. Cats can hunt and raise young alone, etc. Dogs (except maybe the trained hunting dogs) don't know how to do jack in the wild, except maybe dig in the garbage.
13. Dogs love you because of food. Or at least my humans dog does. And don't think she didn't try to bond with him. She's gotten down on her knees and played with him. Didn't care. But as soon as she went and got food, he runs up with a wagging tail and friendliness in his eyes. The lil mooch!
14. Dogs have many more bad habits. Sure cats shed (dogs do too) and claw furniture, but dogs dig holes everywhere, chew shoes, (Meowmies lost many good pairs to dogs!) dig in the garbage, drink out of the toilet, and other "bad dog!" stuff!
15. Cats don't demand as much attention. Cats are purrfectly fine to lay there and look nice while the dogs go and jump all over your visitors!
