Venn Diagram of English Catenatives (colour)
- Easy to read and suitible for English learners
- This diagram is clickable although the links are almost certainly too complex for English learners.
- They may be of interest to teachers or people with a general interest in language, however.
- I intend to simplify them in the future so watch this space.
Venn Diagram of English Catenatives (black & white)
- Same as above but without colour.
- For those who want to photocopy in black and white.
The 26 patterns of complementation in English
Venn Diagram of English Verb Patterns.
- Big scary diagram that originally aimed to describe all of the verb patterns in English, it soon grew into a monster.
- The one good thing about it is that you'll find scrollable lists of verbs followed by
gerunds and infinitives which are more comprehensive than the other diagrams.
- Take a look if you like, but don't say I didn't warn you.
- I'm going to put this into table form eventually, so watch this space.
Colour version of Venn Diagram of English Catenatives
- With more comprehensive scrollable sections. (Not printable.)
