"Robert", an 8yo chestnut standardbred gelding, was brilliantly ridden by 13 year old Amanda Colli into 4th place in the Junior division of the 2001 Tom Quilty Gold Cup at Mundijong WA in a riding time of 18 hours and 33 minutes.
This kind faced, big hearted gentleman was presented with his "Top 5" award after the Best Conditioned Horse workouts on the Sunday morning after the ride, much to the surprise of the rug sponsor - The Arabian Horse Society!! Later on, Amanda was also awarded the trophy for youngest rider to complete the course.
