Sarah is a 1977 Standardbred mare. She has been a trail horse and an endurance horse.

She retired from competition in 1995 at the age of 18, having achieved a lifetime distance of 910km in open endurance competition (all as an aged horse). Among her career highlights was a second place in the 1994 Lakes Entrance 100km Endurance Ride in the Heavyweight division.

Sarah has produced one foal, in 1992, to the Arabian stallion Arabian Park Saiyid - this being the currently successful endurance partbred gelding Shadrach.

Sarah is still enjoying her well-earned retirement.
