A lot of people will tell you that an ollie takes years of practise, they're wrong. All you have to to is: push down really hard, middle/swearing finger on tail, index finger somewhere in the middle of the board.Push down really hard then smack down hard on the tail and in one smooth motion push forward and level out. Land smoothly.   (animation from indieroller)
Kickflip:Have the board so that you can see 'Tech Deck' the right way up and place your index finger on the 'D'.Treat it like an ollie from here but when you push your index finger forward, slide it off towards you.The tricky part can often be to only do 1.The board should flip round quite fast so try to catch it.

Heelflip: Bend your fingers.Have the board so that you can see 'Tech Deck' the right way up.Have your index finger on the far edge above the 'T'. Have your swearing/middle finger on the far edge as well and from here treat it like an ollie but don't push down.

Nollie: Exactly the same as an ollie except you push down on the nose first, not the tail.

Pop shove it:Spin the board 180 degrees by flicking your swearing/middle finger towards you and landing in the position you started. E.G you started with the deck reading 'Tech Deck' and when you landed it it read, well, I can't write exactly what it said but it was upside down any how.

Varial Flip:Before you do this sick trick you need to know how to do a pop shove it and a kick flip. Start with your back finger on the tail of the board and your front foot on the front edge. Push on the tail and simultaneously, do a pop shove it and a kick flip, and when the board spins 180 degrees, land it.

ollie north: When you ollie but take your index finger off so that the bord points down but is still in contact with your swearing/middle finger.

50-50: both trucks grinding along a ledge or a rail.as if you were skating along with all 4 wheels touching, except use the trucks

5-0:the same as a 50-50 except you only use the back
truck

nose-grind: the same as a 50-50 but only use the front truck

tailslide: as the name says. You have to slide with the tail. It's a bit difficult to get it round 90 degrees at first, but you should get the hang of it

noseslide: exactly the same as a tailslide but, funnily enough, you slide with the nose

fs boardslide: a grind in which the board is sliding down a rail, preferably in the middle, as if you were skating along sideways, but on a rail/ledge. Turn it to the left to make a boardslide eg you read'Tech Deck' and you turn the board to the left in the air and if you turn your head to the left you can still read'Tech Deck'

bs lipslide: The same as a boardslide but you turn your hand to the right.

darkslide: Like a board/lipslide except, and here's the tricky part, you have to grind with the griptape.Takes a bit of getting used to but the trick is to master the kick/heelflip.Once you've done that, you just have to catch the board when it's half way round, and then slam your fingers down on to the board, then slam the board on to the rail.

crooked(K-grind/crooks): Kind of like a noseslide and a nosegrind at an angle pointing upwards.
