Informant: Marion Back, Stevenson, KY. Buried: Elizabeth Back Graveyard. Vincil Back Dies At the home of W. B. Hagins across the river, died Monday, Vincil Back, aged 73 years. He was a brother to Miles Back, of Quicksand, and a brother-in-law to W. B. "Uncle Buck" Hagins, who married Mr. Back's sister, she having died a year or two ago. Mr. Back was a quiet man who made his home with the Hagins family and was rarely seen in or about town. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. and burial took place in the Little graveyard. Mr. Back has lived in Ohio for some twenty years and only came back to Kentucky over one year ago. He leaves a widow and five children. Mr. Back ate a hearty supper and said he had enjoyed his supper, and then all of a sudden he was stricken unto death and passed away in a few minutes. Note: Henry Vincil Back was the son of John and Elizabeth (Cope) Back He served in Company D, 5th Kentucky Infantry, CSA during the Civil War. Delilah J.
