| Grinds Da Basics... Soul - One of the most basic yet stylish grind, your back foot is locked in soul and your front foor rides parrallel to the rail. Miszou - Deffinatly the easiest grind for most skaters....the exact opposite of a soul grind with your front foot on soul and your back foot parrallel. Pornstar - Think of it as an acid miszou...acid meaning you turn your foot thats parrallel so it rides on the other side of your sk8. Makio - Maybe the most ugly grind ever but can be done with style if it is performed topside (fishbrain). Only one foot is locked in soul and the other foot may be grabbed. These 3 grinds are deffinatly the 3 most basic grinds in sk8ing today....they are the form of all grinds and can be taken to higher levels where they can be performed topside, truespin, alley-oop, or even negative. Other grinds consist of frontside and backside royale's or torque slides which the skater only grinds with the H-blocks.... |
