In this poem, Wordsworth seems to be calling someone that England needs. England is falling apart and needs a guiding star to help her out of the mess that she happens to be in. This mess, that England seems to be in, seems to be a war for there are references to a sword and the old way of life. All in all, it seems that this poem is a call to action fo milton to lead England in her time of need and resore the old virtues. | ||||||||||
