REVIEW SHEET—Final Exam

Your exam will be worth 20% of your grade for the semester. Remember, in order to graduate high school you must pass English. You should study the books, your vocabulary lists, and your notes.

I. Jane Eyre (20%)—multiple choice. These questions will be on the plot, characters, and themes.

II. The Importance of Being Earnest (10%)—multiple choice.

III. To the Lighthouse (20%)—multiple choice.

IV. Social satire (10%)—short answer. You will be asked to explain satirical techniques as they relate to Decline and Fall.

V. Literary terms (2 lists) (20%)—matching.

VI. Film Vocabulary (10%)—matching.

VII. Photo roman (10%). This part of the final will be planned and shot as a class. Because classes around us will be still working on finals, we will need to leave campus for this activity. Please be considerate of other students; we must leave and return SILENTLY. If you talk in the hallway or in any way disrupt others, your grade will be lowered.

Review assignment:

Write 10 multiple choice questions about Jane Eyre, The Importance of Being Earnest, and To the Lighthouse that could appear on the exam. Each question should have 5 answers.
