Dream World

Dreamworld offers a world of fun for everyone. For serious fun-lovers with a need for speed, Dreamworld's 'Tower of Terror' is the fastest, tallest ride in the world. If that doesn't send your thrill meter off the scale, there's always the 'Thunderbolt' Rollercoaster, The 'Giant Drop' or the 'Wipeout' for spine-tingling, heart-pumping, out-of-this-world excitement. If you like your fun in a more sedate style, there's always the chairlift, the 'Carousel', and the dodgem cars. And if there's not enough fun to be had on the ground, then take to the skies with a dream flight experience. Hop on a helicopter ride around the Gold Coast region and marvel at the views.

If you've ever wanted to find out what it's like to ride a huge tidal wave in an armchair… then step off the edge and take the 'Wipeout' challenge. Once you're buckled in, you don't get a lifebuoy!

The Wildlife Park

If you were wandering around Australia 12,000 years ago, you would have seen giant kangaroos, giant wombats and marsupial lions. These days, the unique animals of Australia include the world’s only egg-laying mammals, the platypus and the echidna, plus the magnetic termite that always builds its mounds in a north-south direction.

At the zoos in Australia, you can get close to the animals. Some zoos let you cuddle a koala and have your photo taken; other zoos have farm animals that you can feed and stroke. You can even get close to the dangerous animals with just one piece of glass between you and a deadly snake.
