Joharry's Window

Johari

Definition. Designed by Joseph Lufts and Harry Ingham to explain feedback under the influence of social growth. The Public Arena is what self and others know about our own person. Blind Spot is what others know, but one doesn't know personally. Facade is the window where you know something but others don't know. The Unknown is what others and oneself doesn't know. The best combination of Joharry's window is that the largest portion should be the Public Arena, whereby the three other windows would be smaller in size, respectively.
