I am the true hilly billy- born in September 24 in Phailian (Churachandpur, Manipur) in the North-East India. At present I am in New Delhi looking for a pot of gold. I secured a first class in my secondary board examination from Don Bosco High School- much to everyone surprise I should say. And I again repeated the magic for my Higher Secondary at St.Anthony's College, Shillong. Guess I wasn't the proverbial third time lucky with my degree from Hansraj College, Delhi University.
Besides the rote and learn routine, I am blessed with a male nightingale's voice ( or whatever that is ) and with finger to twang the guitar string. Poetry flows not from my lips but from my pen. Check out some of the poems I have composed in what were solitary and artistic moods. Friends say ( actually it's more a case of my personal belief ) that I sound like Roger Waters of Pink Floyd. Hee! Hee! I sure don't look like him but I think I can give him a run for his money any day. Guess that is my subtle way of saying that I am a good singer. Hey! I am a crazy fan of Pink Floyd (although it is very embarrassing to say that my girlfriend thought it was an all girl band!). Like all oriental slit eye variety (i.e. North-Eastern/Chinkis) I adore music, love music, breath music, eat music, sleep music ,and lastly listen to music. I grooved into the 70s music basically. Some of my favourite are The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Metallica, GNR, Queen, Shania Twain (?) etc. My other area of interests are web-designing and chatting over the net- guess I'm a net freak, much to the joy of the cyber café owner. I,m hooked to mIRC, you will find me in channels like #zogamchat, #kuknalim, #helpdesk, #helpstaff etc by the nick of libra-devil. If you are witty and funny who knows I might chat with you (ha ha ha!). Studies though it should have been the No 1 in my life is somewhere down in the priority list. I enjoy sports as long as I get to see it being played.
Looks like there sure is a lot to brag and yup about. So why don't you get to know me in real? Better still just take a look behind you, see that dude with specs and an almost bald head staring at the monitor. Hee! Hee! you never know that just might be the real GINZA!!
