The 1 of February 2002, Kristian J. Karlsen og Torbjoern(T.J.) Saethre from the small town Nittedal just north of Oslo in Norway, began their 5 1/2 months travel around the world. The travelroute includes one month in East-Africa, where safari and a visit to Zanzibar are planed. After that we are spending two months in Austrailia and New Zealand, before we need a week in Bali to relax, because we intend to go tracking in the Himalayas afterwards. The trip ends with a month living on some beach in Thailand or Malaysia to get some tan before returning to Norway. This is the plan, but we are free to make changes if we feel like it, so we'll see. Kris is 21 years old and has just finished his military service before going on this trip. To earn money for this trip he worked as a teacher in highschool. In his free time he plays piano or soccer.
T.J., 22 years old. Has also just finished his military service. Worked in the Balkans for the Norwegian goverment to earn money for this trip. Plays soccer and guitar when he can.
